TYPE: New Build Domestic Property

We installed a complete PV system for a new-build home in Perranporth. We worked with the client right from the start or their project, offering early design help through to commissioning (turn-on!)

For this job, we used Q Cells Solar PV modules, a K2 Solar Mounting System and a Fronius Primo Inverter.

TYPE: Domestic Retrofit

We installed a 3kW System using Schletter mounting system for slate roofs, REC PV modules and SMA Inverter. The home faced East/West, and we fitted all black panels to compliment the existing slate roof.

TYPE: Rural Domestic Renovation

We installed REC panels with a Schletter mounting system (perfect for traditional slate roofs) on a refurbished and extended rural property.

The location presented some challenges due to partial shading of the new roof, which was solved using Solar Edge voltage optimisers.

TYPE: Domestic Repair Work

Our client’s system was originally from 2010, when incorrect roof fixings were used by the previous installer. As a result the slate roof had been leaking for some time.

We stripped off the system, removed the stock screws and installed a new Schletter slate hooking system. We fixed the broken slates and then re-commissioned the PV system.

TYPE: Off Grid PV System

We installed an off-grid power system for an Eco campsite overlooking the coast at Porthtowan. Designing and building a bespoke solution within a very tight timeframe, we’ve now been asked to install similar systems to other Shepherd’s huts and cabins. This unique set-up included a Victron charge control panel, Sharp PV Panels and Rolls batteries.

TYPE: Commercial Inspection

We conducted a thorough inspection of roof coverings, fixings, PV modules and all associated electrics, and performed performance checks on all equipment.
